Route to (House)
- From the visitor reception, carry on straight to reach the accessible entrance, or head left around to the front of the house to reach the main entrance.
- The route to the area is step-free level.
- Path surfaces along the route are concrete and gravel.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Entrance (Accessible)
- The entrance surveyed is located at the rear of the house.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance.
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 91cm.
Entrance
- The entrance surveyed is located at the front of the house.
- There is stepped access at the entrance.
- There are 3 steps, which are unmarkedno handrails.
- Steps are split with a resting area.
- Some of the steps are not at the recommended height (between 15cm - 18cm).
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 104cm.
Tour
- The tour is self-guided but volunteers/staff are available to provide additional information.
- The tour takes approximately 15 minutes.
- There is stepped access along the tour route.
- The majority of walkway widths are over 180cm.
- The tour can be adapted to avoid inaccessible areas.

Toilet with Adaptations (House - Accessible - Left Hand Transfer)
- This toilet is located at the rear of the house, to the right from the accessible entrance.
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- This toilet is approximately 5m from the accessible entrance.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the door.
- The door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 98cm.
- The door has a locking handle.
- Internally the door has a low colour contrast.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 180cm x 330cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the seat but it is obstructed.
- The lateral transfer space is 72cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
