Hikes and Trails (Trail To The Water Mill from the Ticket Kiosk)

  • The trail is approximately 0.4 miles.
  • This trail runs from the Ticket Kiosk, through the picnic area and woodland, to the Water Mill.
  • The trail is not open 24 hours.
  • None of the paths are lit at night.
  • The route includes the following surfaces: mud.
  • Some of the route contains steep gradients.
  • These are found in the following areas: the slope from the Ticket Kiosk to the Picnic Area.
  • There are alternative routes to avoid these areas.
  • The route is clearly signposted.
  • The route has handheld maps.
  • Seating is available on the route.
  • There are no toilet facilities along the route.
  • Some areas of this path have protruding tree roots which may present a trip hazard.

Entrance (The Water Mill)

  • The entrance surveyed is located at the front of the Water Mill.
  • There is stepped access at the entrance.
  • There is 1 step, which is unmarked, with no handrails.
  • The step is not at the recommended height (between 15cm - 18cm).
  • There is a single manual door which is permanently open.
  • The width of the opening is 76cm.
