Hikes and Trails

  • The hike is approximately 3.5 kilometres.
  • Turn left from the car park and go through the gate via the steep slope.
    Follow the track passing through two gates.
    Follow the track around to the left after the second gate following the signposts.
    Keep to the track closest to the sea.
    Approximately 2.5 kilometres in, pass through the gate on the left. You will briefly be on the road.
    Take another left almost immediately onto a path.
    At the end of the path re-join the road and the car park will be on the right.
  • The hike is open 24 hours.
  • None of the paths are lit at night.
  • The route includes the following surfaces: tarmac and grass.
  • Some of the route contains steep gradients, steps and very uneven surfaces.
  • These are found in the following areas: on reaching the first gate after leaving the car park.
  • There are no alternative routes to avoid these areas.
  • The route is clearly signposted.
  • The route has information boards with large maps.
  • Seating is available on the route.
  • There are no toilet facilities along the route.
