Hikes and Trails (Stockbridge Common Marsh Wildlife Walk)

  • The walk is approximately 1.8 miles.
  • The walk is circular in nature. It begins at the entrance off the car park on Cow Drove Hill Road, then crosses the marsh to the Marshcourt River. Turning left, the path follows the river to the far end of the common at which point the path turns left through wet marsh to a gate leading onto the Test Way. On passing through the gate, turn left and follow the path back to the car park.
  • The hike is open 24 hours.
  • None of the paths are lit at night.
  • The route includes the following surfaces: grass, compacted gravel and mud.
