Take the path to the left of the information board. - The route to the area is step-free via a very steep ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are tarmac, gravel and grass.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Outdoor Spaces (Countryside Area)
- This information is for the access point located to the left of information board before you reach the slope to the beach.
- Access into the area is via a very steep ramp/slope.
- The slope is over 150cm wide.
- There is open access at the surveyed access point.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: open countryside.
- The outdoor facilities also include: coastal walks.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass and compact earth.
- Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- There are steep ramps/slopes without handrails and less than 3 steps without handrails in the main areas.
- There are various steps and slopes throughout the outdoor space.
- There are not any bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
- The paths have kissing gates which may create obstacles for some users.
Route to (the Beach)
- From visitor reception turn right and go through the bollards with a width of 127cm.
Follow the path past the café (not National Trust) on the right.
Take the path to the right of the information board and continue down a steep path consisting of loose stones and hard rock.
At the bottom of this path there is a set of steps onto the rocky beach. - The route to the area is step-free via a very steep ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are tarmac and gravel.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Outdoor Spaces (Beach)
- This information is for the access point located past the café (not National Trust), and to right of the information board down the sloped path.
- Access into the area is via steps.
- There are 10+ steps, which are unmarked, with a handrail on the left going down.
- There is open access at the surveyed access point.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: concrete or tarmac and loose stones.
- There is no step-free level access around the area.
- There are steep ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas.
- Access to the water is steeply sloped.
