Hikes and Trails (Car Park To Coastgaurd Station)
- The walk is approximately 1.4 miles.
- This route starts along a tarmac path, past the shop until you pass the gate.
Continue along the coast following the path which soon turns to gravel then eventually turning to a grassed area as you reach the lifeguard station, from here loop back around the grassed area to re-join the path back to the car park.
This walk takes you to the viewpoint of the vile, the route can be extended out to the vile itself during low tide only with a very steep decent and uneven surfaces to overcome. - The walk is open 24 hours.
- None of the paths are lit at night.
- The route includes the following surfaces: tarmac, grass, gravel and mud.
- Some of the route contains steep gradients and very uneven surfaces.
- These are found in the following areas: throughout the walk.
- There are no alternative routes to avoid these areas.
