Route to (Lanlay Meadows)
- From parking on Wyndham Park Way, cross over the road Gwern-Y-Steeple, be careful crossing this road as it can be busy. Walk up the lane opposite Wyndham Park Way and after approximately 40 metres take the public footpath on your left up a rocky slope and 3 steps, with no handrails, to the gate. The gate opens away from you, will self close and has an opening width of 120cm. Walk through the canopy of trees and you will come out into Lanlay meadows via a second set of gates, which has an opening width of 127cm and opens away from you.

Hikes and Trails

Follow the trodden grass footpath straight ahead across the first meadow to a wooden footbridge.
The footbridge has two steps on both sides of the bridge, the highest step is 21cm.
Cross the footbridge to enter the second meadow, this section can be very muddy if it has been raining. The public footpath continues straight ahead, but there are a number of other footpaths you can take in this meadow, with various gates and stiles to get out and back into this meadow. Continue straight ahead to gain access to the broadwalk through the trees. To get back to the start retrace your steps. - The walk is open 24 hours.
