  • Nearby parking includes: standard on-street parking and an open air public car park.
  • There is a designated drop-off point without a dropped kerb.
  • There is standard on street parking on High Street.
    The nearest public car park is The Strand Car Park.

Entrance

  • The entrance surveyed is located at the front left of the building.
  • There is stepped access at the entrance.
  • The slight slope is between 75cm and 150cm wide.
  • There are 4 steps, which are unmarkedhandrails on both sides.
  • The handrails cover all steps.
  • All of the steps are not at the recommended height (between 15cm - 18cm).
  • This entrance has a bell.
  • Features at a suitable height for a wheelchair user include: the bell.
  • There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
  • The width of the opening is 110cm.
  • There is a small lip on the threshold of the entrance with a height of less than 1.5cm.

Visitor Reception (Front Right of Building)

  • The door is manual, permanently held open and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
  • The width of the door opening is 70cm.
  • Internally the door has a high colour contrast.
  • There is step-free level access around the area.
  • The majority of aisle widths are over 150cm.
  • There is room for wheelchair users to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm) throughout the area.
  • Some of the flooring is smooth and even.
  • Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to carpet and uneven floorboards.
  • There is step-free level access to the counter.
  • The height of the counter is 85cm.
  • There is not a low level section at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
  • The counter has windows, TVs, glazed screens or mirrors which could adversely affect the ability of someone to lip read.

Tour
