Admissions
- At this location the following are free to access for all visitors: all areas of the site except the first floor, which is not available for visitors. Donations are accepted.
Public Transport
- There is not a bus stop within approximately 150m of the site.

Parking
- This site has a car park.
- This is an open air car park with a grass surface.
- Obstacles from the car park include: uneven surfaces and grass.
- There are 2 grassed areas allocated as parking; to the left of the vehicular access, and at the end of the vehicle track that leads up to the Chapel.
Entrance
- The entrance surveyed is located at the front of the chapel.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance.
- This entrance has a key hole.
- Features not positioned at a suitable height for a wheelchair user include: the key hole.
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 85cm.
- There is a small lip on the threshold of the entrance with a height of less than 1.5cm.
- The key to access the Chapel can be collected from the welcome hut at Gunby Hall.
Event Space
- There is step-free level access around some of the space.
- There is stepped access to the pews and the area at the front of the chapel.
- Some flooring in the area is smooth and even.
- Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to uneven paving/tiles and uneven floorboards.
- Some of the flooring has a very shiny finish, which could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.
- There are bench seats and chairs without armrests available in the space.
- The following furniture is permanently fixed: some of the chairs.
- The space does not have a hearing assistance system.
Toilet with Adaptations (Monksthorpe Chapel - Ambulant - Right Hand Transfer)
- This toilet is located at the front left of the chapel.
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- This toilet is approximately 14m from the chapel entrance.
- There is no signage on or near the door.
- The door is manual, opens outwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 87cm.
- The door has a lever twist lock.
- There is a small lip on the threshold of the doorway with a height of more than 1.5cm.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 202cm x 217cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the seat but it is obstructed.
- The lateral transfer space is 138cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- There is a spatula flush on the transfer side.
- The following grab rails are available: a horizontal grab rail on the door, a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side, a vertical grab rail on the transfer side and a vertical rail on the left side of the wash basin.
