- The closest train stations are Grange 6 miles (9.5km) and Windermere 8 miles (13km). If you are traveling on the West Coast Main Line, take a train from Oxenholme-the-Lake District to Windermere station. Fell Foot Park is just a short bus ride. Please email the venue at least 48 hours before arrival so that staff can prepare them, and also inform you about pick up points and the collection process.
Both wheelchairs are free to hire, however, donations are welcome.
Toilet with Adaptations (Main Car Park)
- This toilet is located to the right of the car park.
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- This toilet is approximately 10m from the car park.
- There is pictorial and written text signage on or near the door.
- The door is manual, opens outwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 97cm.
- The door has a sliding bolt lock.
- Internally the door has a low colour contrast.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 144cm x 176cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the seat but it is obstructed.
- The lateral transfer space is 81cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
