Route to (Coastline)

  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Hikes and Trails

  • The trail is approximately 1.5 miles.
  • Take the path from the road and follow it as it ascends and descends via a series of steps. Some of the steps have handrails. When you come to a crossroad in the paths go straight on, then follow the path around the coast. Eventually you will see a beach in the distance with a large white rock formation in the middle of it. You can descend down to the beach using the steps. Come back up the steps from the beach, but this time turn left and follow the grass and gravel path until you reach a kissing gate and road. Turn right and follow the road until you reach a large house on the right. Bear right at the junction then after a while bear right again and follow the road back to your starting point.
  • The hike is not open 24 hours.
  • None of the paths are lit at night.
  • The route includes the following surfaces: grass, compacted gravel and mud.
  • Some of the route contains steep gradients, steps and very uneven surfaces.
  • These are found in the following areas: all along the coastal path.
  • There are no alternative routes to avoid these areas.
  • The route is not clearly signposted.
  • Seating is available on the route.
  • There are no toilet facilities along the route.
