Hikes and Trails

  • Exit the car park via the open access to the left of the information board. Go down the slope, then two steps and go through the gate. Turn left and go over the wooden bridge. Turn right up the slope. Turn left up three steps and turn left again. Go through the gate at the end of this path. Follow the path keeping the bay on your left. You will reach another gate. Go through it and down the steep slope. When there is a left path take it and cross over the stream. Follow this path until you reach another path. Turn right and follow it until you re-join the path to the car park.
  • The walk is open 24 hours.
  • None of the paths are lit at night.
  • The route includes the following surfaces: grass, gravel, compacted gravel and mud.
  • Some of the route contains steep gradients, steps and very uneven surfaces.
  • These are found in the following areas: There are steps at the first gate 150m from the car park. Steep slopes and very uneven surfaces begin after this gate.
  • There are no alternative routes to avoid these areas.
  • The route is not clearly signposted.
  • Seating is available on the route.
  • There are no toilet facilities along the route.
