Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: a manual wheelchair. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
- Sensory packs can be borrowed which include: ear defenders, fidget toys and communication cards.

- You can borrow or hire the following mobility vehicles: a tramper and a mobility scooter. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

Route to (Rose Walk and Wellie Walk)
- Exit the reception and proceed ahead via the picnic area. Turn right through a walled opening.
Turn left and continue ahead and turn left again up a pathway towards the gated access point. - The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are gravel, muddy and paving stones.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Outdoor Spaces
- Access into the area is via a slight ramp/slope.
- The slope is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- The access points to the area are located off the main road that runs through Packwood.
- There is a gate at the surveyed access point which opens away from you (push).
- The gate is not self-closing.
- The width of the gap is 97cm.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: parkland and open countryside.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: gravel.
- Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.
- The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- There are slight ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas .
- There are slight slopes throughout.
- There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
Hikes and Trails
- The walk is approximately 1 mile long.
- The route takes you from Packwood Road in a circular direction and explores the park following country lanes and public footpaths through the countryside.
- The trail is open 24 hours.
- None of the paths are lit at night.
- The route includes the following surfaces: grass and compacted gravel.
- Some of the route contains very uneven surfaces.
- These are found in the following areas: along main pathways.
- The route is clearly signposted.
- The route has handheld maps and online maps.
- Seating is available on the route.
- There are no toilet facilities along the route.
