Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: a manual wheelchair. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
- Sensory packs can be borrowed which include: ear defenders, fidget toys and communication cards.

- You can borrow or hire the following mobility vehicles: a tramper and a mobility scooter. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

Route to (the Carolean Gardens)
- Exit the visitor reception and shop and proceed ahead via the picnic area and turn right though a walled opening.
Cross the access road towards Packwood House. At Packwood House turn left at the main entrance. The entrance to the gardens is ahead. - The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are tarmac, gravel, muddy, paving stones and bonded gravel.
- The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Outdoor Spaces
- This information is for the access point located to the left of Packwood House main entrance.
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- There is a gate at the surveyed access point which is permanently held open.
- The width of the gap is 96cm.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass, block paving and gravel.
- Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor spaces.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- There are more than 3 steps without handrails in the main areas .
- There is stepped access to the Yew Garden.
- There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
- The paths have gates which may create obstacles for some users.
