Equipment and Resources to Borrow

  • Sensory packs can be borrowed which include: ear defenders, fidget toys, magnifying glass and soft toy.

Route to

  • From the stables car park, head towards the stables.
    Turn left into the stables archway and enter the courtyard.
    Turn right and cross the courtyard to the shop.
    Enter the first doorway then the reception and entrance for the gardens is directly ahead.
  • The route to the area is step-free level.
  • Path surfaces along the route are cobbles and bonded gravel.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces (The Rose and Kitchen Gardens)

  • This information is for the access point located at the rear of the stables.
  • Access into the area is via a steep ramp/slope.
  • The slope is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • The access points to the area are located at the rear of the stables.
  • There is a gate at the surveyed access point which is permanently held open.
  • The gate is not self-closing.
  • The width of the gap is 120cm.
  • The following outdoor facilities are available: gardens.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: bonded gravel.
  • Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor spaces.
