Equipment and Resources to Borrow

  • The chapel has a stair climber to overcome the steps to the entrance.

Route to (The Orangery)

  • Exit the visitor reception, turn left and continue over the raised walkway to Market Place. There is a steep slope at the end of the walkway which overcomes the steps.
    Keep left and continue along the walls to the entrance to the walled garden.
    Go through the walled garden and at the end turn left.
    Continue down the path to a path on the right which leads to The Orangery.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope and is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are tarmac, gravel and wood.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
  • The visitor shuttle takes visitors to Market Place.

Attraction / Exhibit

  • Access into the area is via steps.
  • There are 2 steps, which are unmarked, with no handrails.
  • The majority of walkway widths are between 120cm and 180cm.
  • There is no (or very little) background noise here.
  • The exhibits do not have hearing assistance systems.
