Route to (the Gardens)

  • Take the path at the end of the car park. There are bollards with low contrast at either end of the path.
    Turn right on to the service road where the crossing is marked.
    Follow the road round to the left, this becomes the drive. There is a steep slope here.
    Continue along the drive until you arrive at a gated entrance signed "Drop Off Point".
    There is an open access point to the right of the gate which is 91cm wide.
    There is a small lip at the left of the access point which may be a trip hazard.
    Go through the open access point and continue straight ahead.
    To the right is access to the gardens.
    Further along the path to the left is stepped access to the rear garden.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are compact earth, tarmac and bonded gravel.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
