Route to (the Estate)

  • From the visitor trailer reception go straight ahead down the slope, continue to the left of the first building.
    After approximately 20 meters the start of the trail is on the left.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are gravel and cobbles.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces

  • This information is for the access point located to the left before you reach the courtyard.
  • Access into the area is via a slight ramp/slope.
  • The slope is over 150cm wide.
  • There is open access at the surveyed access point.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: gravel and compact earth.
  • Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is step-free level access around some of the area.
  • There are steep ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas.

Hikes and Trails

  • The trail is approximately 420 meters long.
  • Follow the path through the woodland.
    Continue along this path until you come to a bridge, turn right to cross over the stream.
    The width of the bridge is 165cm.
    Continue following the path to the side of the walled garden area.
    At the walled garden turn right, then follow the path with the walled garden on the left.
    Follow the path back to the start of the trail.
  • The trail is open 24 hours.
  • None of the paths are lit at night.
  • The route includes the following surfaces: compacted gravel.
  • The route is clearly signposted.
  • The route has handheld maps.
  • Seating is available on the route.
  • There are no toilet facilities along the route.
