Landing

  • There are two different landing spots the boat can use which will vary upon the service, but both lead to stepped access onto the standing, which has no handrails.

Boat

Visitor Centre

  • The slope is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • The door is manual, permanently held open and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
  • The width of the door opening is 142cm.
  • Internally the door has a high colour contrast.
  • There is step-free level access around the visitor centre.
  • The majority of aisle widths are over 150cm.
  • There is room for wheelchair users to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm) throughout the visitor centre.
  • The flooring is not smooth and even.
  • Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to uneven paving/tiles.
  • There is step-free level access to the counter.
  • The height of the counter is 91cm.
  • There is not a low level section at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.

  • The width of the widest cubicle door opening is 69cm.
  • Lighting levels are moderate to good.
  • There are no hand dryers.

Chapel

  • There is step free level access to the Chapel.
  • The entrance is open access with a hanging bead curtain in the opening.
  • The entrance width is 97cm.
  • The Chapel has aisle widths under 80cm.
  • There are bench seats within the Chapel.
  • The lighting levels are low.
