Route to (Northey Island)
- The island is accessed via a tidal causeway which is covered for approximately 3 hours either side of high tide.

From the boating lake follow the England Coast Path south eastwards towards the sea wall.
Follow the sea wall path next to the wire mesh fence to the Island's tidal causeway. - The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are compact earth, gravel and grass.
- The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Parking
- This site does not have a car park.
- There is not a designated drop-off point.
- Parking is recommended at Promenade Park Maldon CM9 5UR, approximately 1km away from the Causeway along the sea wall.
Toilets and refreshments are available there.
