Public Transport
- There is not a bus stop within approximately 150m of the site.
- The nearest train station is Bangor.
- Bangor railway station is 4 miles away.

Parking
- This site has a car park.
- The vehicle route from the main road to the car park includes: uneven surfaces and potholes.
- This is an open air car park with a compacted gravel and compacted earth surface.
- Parking is free for all users.
- Maps and information boards are available.
- There are no Blue Badge parking bays available.
- There are not parent and child parking bays available.
- There is not a designated drop-off point.
Picnic Area
- The following information describes the picnic area located at the far side of the car park.
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- There are picnic tables.
- No chairs have armrests on both sides.
- Adapted picnic tables are available.
- The distance between the floor and the underside of the lowest picnic table is 54cm.
- The distance between the floor and the underside of the highest picnic table is 84cm.
- The standard height for the underside of picnic tables is 91cm.
- The following furniture is permanently fixed: all of the chairs and all of the tables.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The surface in the picnic area is not smooth and even.
- Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to grass.
- The surface can become muddy after rain.
Route to (Woodland)
- The entrance to the woodland is at the far end of the car park, opposite the vehicular entrance.
- The route to the area is step-free level.
- Path surfaces along the route are compact earth and grass.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
Outdoor Spaces
- This information is for the access point located at the far end of the car park from the vehicular entrance.
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- There is open access at the surveyed access point.
- There are bollards at the access point which have a minimum width of 105cm and are 30cm high.
- The bollards do not contrast visually with the ground.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: woodland, farmland and open countryside.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass, compact earth, loose stones and wood.
- Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.
- The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- There are slight ramps/slopes without handrails, steep ramps/slopes without handrails and more than 3 steps without handrails in the main areas.

The steps are located at the entrance to the raised Menai Strait viewing platform and also as you head back inland afterwards. - There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
- The paths have easy open gates and kissing gates which may create obstacles for some users.
Steps (to elevated viewpoint)
- There are 7 steps.
- The steps are not clearly marked but there is a handrail on the left going up.
- The handrail does not cover all the steps.
There is bench seating at the top of the steps.
Hikes and Trails
- The trail is approximately 1.5 miles.
- Leave the car park and go to the far end of the picnic area.
Go through the kissing gate, across the field and through the gate in the corner.
Turn left and follow the large stone wall.
At the elevated viewpoint turn left and head uphill away from the Menai Strait.
Cross the small bridge and enter the wood.
Follow the path until you meet a wider track.
Cross the track until you come to a gate and field beyond.
Cross the field and follow the fence on the left-hand perimeter of the field until you reach another kissing gate.
Follow the path through the wood, go through another gate then follow the fence to the other side of the field.
Go through another gate and make you way across another field diagonally to the gate under the trees.
Follow the grassy path ahead then turn left where it meets the track to return to the car park. - The hike is not open 24 hours.
- None of the paths are lit at night.
- The route includes the following surfaces: grass, gravel and mud.
- Some of the route contains steep gradients, steps and very uneven surfaces.
- These are found in the following areas: throughout the trail.
- There are no alternative routes to avoid these areas.
- The route is not clearly signposted.
- Seating is available on the route.
- There are no toilet facilities along the route.
